Pixi X Its Judy Time Collab Palette Review and Swatches

Hey guys ! So I just picked up the Its Judy Time palette with Pixi Cosmetics . Judy came out with an Eyeshadow palette as well as a lip palette . They are called its Eye time and its Lip time named after her popular YouTube channel Its Judy Time .

The palette retails for 24.00 on Pixi. Com , Target.com , and Target stores . Each palette comes with 12 eyeshadow shades or Lip shades .

The eyeshadow palette is a neutral everyday palette that can go from day to night easily . The colors blend well , and are pretty pigmented for an eyeshadow palette that is drugstore . The shimmer shades can easily be foiled with a makeup setting spray . The eyeshadows remind me of Lorac eyeshadows , they do have a lot of fall out once once you dip your brush in them , but they do not apply patchy or blotchy . I have been using this palette everyday ! In my honest opinion do you probably have these colors in your collection already ? Yea most likely . Do you need this palette in your life ? No you don’t , but if your a makeup collector and you are on the look out for an affordable alternative palette instead of spending 50 bucks this is for you .

The lip palette is made up of mostly nude colors . It has a nice variety of pinks and browns . The last row of lip colors are made up of reds that range from cherry to berry red. The nude lip colors are lack luster . They are not the most pigmented . You have to swirl your finger around in the product a bit for them to show up . The reds are pretty pigmented . When I wear a lipstick that’s not a matte formula I look for it to be creamy and smooth . This lip product is not creamy , it’s actually very dry . I have tried to work with it because it was 24 bucks but I would not recommend this to anyone to buy . This is a miss for me .

If you would like to see swatches of these products please fill free to click the link below :

As always I hope that this was helpful and comment below if you have either palette and if you like it or if you plan on getting it !
Thanks for reading and I’ll talk to you in another blog 😘

Maybelline Colossal Big Shot Review

Hey Guys ! I’m back with a mini review for you on this new product. There has been so much hyped buzzing around this mascara . The Maybelline Colossal Big shot mascara retails for $6.99 , I found mine at Target where they had a very large display . The packaging is too adorable for words . Metallic gold and purple (some of my favorite colors )  which is very eye catching .

I’m going to keep this short and sweet because I don’t have much to say . The brush is medium size which makes it difficult to apply to the bottom lash. The claims say that you achieve volume in one swipe , well that didn’t happen for me . In the picture above , that is the result of three coats with multiple strokes . The brush didn’t separate my lashes as well as I would have liked it to.  If I was planning on just wearing this mascara and not falsies , I would not apply anything less than three coats to make my lashes stand out.  After I applied the three coats I did notice length but not much volume.

I think this mascara is ok , and on a scale from 1 to 5 , I would give it a 3 . It’s not the worst but it’s not the best. It falls somewhere in the middle for me .   Please comment below if your thoughts , is it your new fave mascara ? Or is it not that special to you ? I would love to know what you all think 🙂

New ! L’oreal Infallible Total Cover Foundation Review /Demo

Hey My loves ! I have a review on a new foundation that I was able to try . It’s the L’oreal Infallible Total Cover foundation . I was excited when I heard about this foundation . I’m already in love with their Infallible Matte foundation, so it would be an understatement to say that I was itching to get my hands on the new foundation.

Product Info / Claims :

  • It comes in 12 shades
  • 24hrs Of total coverage
  • Natural Finish
  • Light weight feel
  • Covers scars, blemishes , hyperpigmentation , and dark spots for a flawless finish
  • Retails for $12.99

My Thoughts –

I applied this foundation with a brush and a beauty sponge . If I had to choose between which tool to apply this foundation I would choose a beauty sponge .

This foundation is full coverage . It covered up all of my acne scars and it did even out my skin tone. I blended pretty easily i didn’t have to work to hard , but it starts to set pretty fast so you would want to work quickly . It does feel very light weight , that is a plus when it comes to a full coverage foundation .

Cons –

The packaging is a little deceiving , the shade on the outside of the bottle does not match what’s in it . The colors tend to be on the warmer side . The undertones especially in the deeper shades , tend to have an orange undertone . I felt like they didn’t have many in between colors to match the brown girls like myself , so I had to mix two colors and I still was a little to orange for my liking .

This foundation also was a little “cakey ”  no matter how little I applied . It also enhanced all my acne and dry patches . I have combination skin , so the little dry patches I had it really made them stand out . If you have any type of texture I would stay away from this .

From a far , the foundation looks beautiful , but close up it’s all a mess . It doesn’t give you a flawless finish and it clings to all your imperfections.  If I had to recommend this foundation it would be to people that had a normal skin type , clear, smooth skin.   Now that’s if I had to recommend it . For me this foundation is a big no no . I just didn’t think that it looked good on the skin. I believe there better foundations at the drugstores than this that are worth the money  .

Wet n Wild Megaglo Highlighting Powder

I am super excited to be sharing this with you today . When I saw the beauties come across my Instagram feed I KNEW u had to find them . When were the available to purchase ? How much did they cost ? Would I be able to get my hands on them ?

After going to Walgreens after Walgreens on a hunt for these beauties ( coming up empty handed) I finally discovered them at a Rite Aid . I was able to purchase the last two in the store (there are only 6 per display ) . I have to say that they are very worth the search . So let’s get into all the deets !

These highlighters are apart of a limited edition collection called wild ones. The collection consist of  highlighters , metallic liquid lipsticks , nail polish , and all over Glo sticks .  The highlighters retail for $.3.99 . They’re packaged so cute , They even have a flower imprint on them .

The highlighters come in two shades .Precious Pearls is more of a gold color , and Crown Of My Canopy is a rose gold color .

The are both beautiful , they apply very smoothly . So easy to blend , not “chalky” at all .

In the picture above I applied this product with an heavy hand because I love to glow lol . Over all I think this is an awesome product for an awesome price . Wet n Wild did it again !
